Last updated: March 16, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Veribl platform, including the Veribl dashboard at app.veribl.com, the marketing website at veribl.com, and any consumer-facing product pages hosted on our infrastructure (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veribl is a Digital Product Experience Platform that enables brands to create and manage post-purchase consumer experiences. The Service includes:

  • Digital Product Passports: structured product pages containing manuals, specifications, warranty information, and compliance data, accessible via QR codes
  • Product Registration: consumer-facing forms for warranty registration and product ownership records
  • AI Customer Support: an AI-powered chat assistant embedded on product pages, trained on your product documentation
  • Consumer Analytics: scan tracking, registration rates, engagement metrics, and consumer data management
  • Email Communications: automated transactional and marketing emails sent to consumers on behalf of the brand (warranty confirmations, product tips, review requests)
  • Webhooks & API: programmatic access to platform events and data
  • Brand Center: customization of consumer-facing pages including branding, custom domains, and localization

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying Veribl immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plans

The Service is offered under tiered subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Enterprise), each with defined feature limits and usage allowances. Plan details and pricing are available on our website and may be updated from time to time.

4.2 Free Trial

New accounts may receive a free trial of a paid plan. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically downgrade to the Starter (free) plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan. A short grace period may be provided to allow you to adjust your usage before feature restrictions take effect.

4.3 Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Veribl to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

5. Your Data and Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all rights to the data and content you upload to the Service, including product information, images, manuals, and brand assets (“Your Content”). Veribl does not claim ownership of Your Content.

5.2 License to Veribl

You grant Veribl a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes displaying your product information on consumer-facing product pages, generating QR codes, and processing data through our AI features.

5.3 Consumer Data

Consumer data collected through your product pages (registrations, chat transcripts, feedback, scan data) is your data. You are the data controller for this information and are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate legal bases and consent for collecting and processing it. Veribl processes this data on your behalf as a data processor, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5.4 Data Export

You may export your data (contacts, registrations, chat logs, feedback) at any time in CSV format through the Veribl dashboard.

6. Consumer-Facing Product Pages

Veribl hosts consumer-facing product pages on your behalf. You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy and legality of product information displayed on these pages
  • Compliance with consumer protection laws applicable to your products and markets
  • Providing appropriate privacy notices and obtaining consent from consumers where required (e.g., marketing email opt-in)
  • Ensuring product information meets EU Digital Product Passport requirements where applicable

Veribl is not responsible for the accuracy of product claims, warranty terms, or compliance representations made on your product pages.

7. AI Features

The Service includes AI-powered features, including a customer support chat assistant. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated based on product documentation you provide and may not always be accurate or complete
  • You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of information that the AI assistant uses to respond to your consumers
  • Chat transcripts are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) and are subject to their data processing terms
  • AI features are provided “as is” and should not be relied upon for safety-critical information, medical advice, or legal guidance

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights
  • Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or communications to consumers who have not consented
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Use the Service to collect data for purposes other than those described in your consumer-facing privacy disclosures
  • Exceed your plan’s usage limits through automated means or circumvent feature restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section.

9. Webhooks and API Usage

If your plan includes API and webhook access, the following terms apply:

  • API credentials and webhook signing secrets must be kept confidential
  • You are responsible for securing your webhook endpoints and validating HMAC signatures
  • API rate limits apply per your subscription plan; exceeding limits may result in throttling
  • We may modify the API with reasonable notice; breaking changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Veribl and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription period.

“Veribl” and the Veribl logo are trademarks of Veribl. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent, except as reasonably necessary to describe your use of the Service.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), OpenAI (AI features), and Cloudflare (custom domains). Your use of these integrations may be subject to the third party’s own terms and conditions. Veribl is not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of third-party services.

12. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities. We do not warrant that the Service will meet specific regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veribl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Veribl in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros (EUR 100), whichever is greater.

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Veribl has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veribl and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
  • Content you upload or make available through the Service
  • Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Claims by your consumers related to product information, warranties, or marketing communications you send through the Service

15. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the dashboard settings. Veribl may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease immediately
  • Consumer-facing product pages will be deactivated
  • You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law

Sections 5.1 (Ownership), 10 (Intellectual Property), 12 (Disclaimers), 13 (Limitation of Liability), 14 (Indemnification), and 17 (Governing Law) survive termination.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may terminate your account before they take effect.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence, where applicable.
